Our Background:
Ward Calaway has been a self-employed consultant since 1967.
In December of 1972, Steve Brooks joined him to form Calaway & Brooks, and the firm incorporated in September of 1976. The primary business of Calaway & Brooks is to provide technical consulting services in the field of electronic circuit and systems design.
Since 1990, Calaway & Brooks has also offered printed circuit design services. Capabilities include multilayer, through-hole, surface mount, controlled impedance, and flex circuits. Customers frequently opt for quick-turn fabrication and prototype assembly, and we specialize in short- and medium-run assembly with test and calibration.
At the end of 1999, Steve Brooks left the firm to take a full-time position in the field of switching regulator and power management design.
